Two young entrepreneurs set up best coffee I have ever drink. Price is $1.60 very reasonable. Usually long q.
i won't say dis is a bad cup of kopi..but it is not to my liking. it came off pretty strong during first sips into the mouth. the taste mellow down after a while in the tongue. but whenevr started new sips, the strong taste was back.
I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem at the newly renovated tekka market yesterday.
I have to highlight the important things that made this coffee stall stand out compared to others.
First, they do not use non-dairy hydrogenated vegetable oil filled evaporated "milk" in their "C" variants of coffee and tea. If they could swap out their "Dawn" brand condensed "milk" with one that uses real milk, that would definitely make it healthier, too.
Secondly, their beans are not roasted with any unhealthy additives such as margarine or sugar. They could use real butter if they wanted to, but that is not part of their specific beans' roasting process.
If you are willing to pay the premium (please do not complain about something being overpriced when the prices are clearly stated before you purchase it) for healthily roasted and extracted coffee, give these guys a go.
I bought an iced long black and a kopi o kosong peng large size. I did this to compare the flavour profiles of their espresso arabica versus their robusta one which locals are probably more accustomed to.
Verdict:
I prefered the aroma, depth of flavour, and lack of acidity/sourness of the robusta blend compared to their western counterpart.
I highly recommend trying both to come to a decision yourselves.
Cheers.

First time trying this stall. Traditional coffee is good. Ordered a coffee C priced at $1.70, slightly more than coffee shop price.
They sell both traditional coffee and western coffee, ie latte, flat white, cappuccino. Traditional coffee at 1.6 and western coffee at 3.6. Really good coffee ☕️ and you should try it yourself. Only downside about the environment, but I guess that’s the reason for their reasonable price.
$3.60 for a professionally prepared cup of latte sincerely made and served. So happy to find them! <3 be prepared to queue a bit (:
Hipster coffee at a very affordable price tag.
Came by Tekka Market just before their 3 months long renovation starts in July 2023, and tried the really amazing coffee from this joint. Ordered a dirty matcha, while wondering what it could be.. it was matcha with coffee. Very brilliant indeed. While the chinese typically order their yuan yang which is coffee mixed with tea, Generation pushed the standard higher to mix coffee with matcha. Coffee was aromatic and when coupled with the intense taste of matcha, It was a bitter yet grassy taste. Definitely not for your average caffeine consumer, but if you do like tea , you would most likely enjoy this.
Service was prompt and efficient. Saavy customers would enjoy their fuss free/cash free payment methods. Would definitely recommend and look forward to its reopening after the market renovation is completed.
Great & (pretty affordable) gourmet coffee located in a hawker centre!
Iced latte : $4.10 (hot latte costs $3.60)
Iced mocha : $4.50
The latte coffee aftertaste was very pleasant & strong (base notes were chocolate-ty & nutty & acidity level was low which I liked)
Although there was a queue during the lunch crowd but the barista moved pretty fast & efficiently (can tell from small lil things like how he stacked his cup on top of another cup so that it's easier to put on the plastic carrier for the cup).
I also liked how they mentioned in an article that they wanted to bring gourmet coffee to the hawker scene so that everyone (including old people who are too scared to try new things) can afford & try them!
I strongly recommend you to try this stall if you're in the vicinity!
